1 Is N-TET mandatory for in-service teachers? ▾

2 I didn't receive any login password email but the exam site says my password has been sent to my registered email id. Where can I find it? ▾

Email providers tend to block automated mail sent from an institution/company/website so they are most likely to end up not getting listed in your inbox. Check your spam box. You will find your password under the email titled "LOGIN CREDENTIALS"

3 Am I supposed to create two accounts for each papers (Paper-I and Paper-II)? ▾

No, there's an option to appear for both papers. It's listed as "Both (Paper-I) and (Paper-II)"

4 What if I have already applied for a single paper and now I want to apply for both? ▾

5 Can I apply for N-TET if I am still currently pursuing my D.El.Ed or B.Ed course? ▾

Only if you have appeared for the final year/semester exam and your result is awaited then yes you are eligible to apply for the N-TET exam. Candidates are eligible with final semester B.Ed or D.El.Ed admit card. The prerequisite is you have to have successfully completed any of the above mentioned professional courses to be applicable for the TET exam.

6 I made a mistake with my name, father's/mother's name, DoB, etc. Can I update it? ▾

Yes. Click on Personal Information section and retype the correct details then click Save and Continue

7 I made the payment but my account is still listed as incomplete. ▾

Do not proceed with the payment again. Note your N-TET registration number, transaction ID from the bank statement, get a screenshot of the payment proof and send them to helpline (contact information provided below) through WhatsApp.

8 My application was successfully processed after paying twice. How do I avail refund for the extra payment? ▾
